This is great photograph which presents an interesting contrast to the two photos of a girl and boy we have seen in class. In the photos we saw in class the girl was posing, looking directly as the camera; the boy was playing, not posing, and was not looking at the camers. Here, in your photo, the female is in the foreground, which reverses the notion that men are always first, in front. She is also looking up, maybe at someone she is talking to? The male (this is you, right?) has his arms crossed and is slightly obscured by a shadow as there isn't a central source of light in the room where the photo is taken. The body language is very interesing. So is the gaze, which though direct has a far away quality- day dreaming? Serious or sad?
